Amazingly disappointing experience. We have never been to a restaurant that wanted to fight us from the start. We bought a voucher fair and square through Livingsocial. At the time of purchase, it was clearly stated that the booking was live and nothing else need be brought to the restaurant. That was not the experience this evening.<br> Fights from the start. The greeter, followed by the manager, demanded we provide an email with a "pin". Despite explaining multiple times that we had fulfilled the terms of the deal as per the purchase, the manager was relentless in demanding a piece of information we didn't have.<br> I reflected on this - perhaps there had been a communication between Livingsocial and the restaurant. Maybe so. Regardless, there had been weeks to identify and resolve this problem. I can only assume the restaurant decided it was better to live with this problem, as it was clear that several other tables there had the exact same issue on the evening.<br> We eventually solved the problem caused by the restaurant by requesting the website send through the email again. Other tables weren't so lucky.<br> Here's the bottom line - I assume restaurants partner with these sites to generate business, impress the customer and create loyal customers who want to come back. There's no way I ever want to come back to this restaurant again. The food we ultimately received was OK, the treatment we received was unforgivable. I'm sure they have their own story for this. If they do, it doesn't change my customer experience and the deep loathing I now hold for this place. Don't worry, we won't darken your doorstep again.

Work in area &amp; often wondered why this place with the funky interior is rarely busy. Today all was explained. As they say in New York NEVER order Mexican in Sydney. Beach Burrito with confusing range of sub-par Mexican food is compelling proof of the reason why essentially serving 'slop in a wrap'; actually that should be 'expensive slop in a wrap' as an excuse for a burrito. Consequently I left most of it uneaten. Service was perky which was the ONLY saving grace of this place.

This place has been on my list of "must try" for so long and I finally got the chance to try it, located in the streets of Darlinghurst. As soon as we walked into the dining area which is nicely decorated with simplistic modern round lights, we were politely greeted by a waitstaff (she was exceptional all night, great recommendation and great service) and seated at our table. I do recommend booking a table for groups of 4 or more as seating does seem limited and this place does get booked out. <br> <br> We ordered quite a few dishes as the servings were small and great to share, the highlight of the night was definitely the the raw king salmon($19), the sweet and tangy lime dressing goes amazingly well with the tender salmon pieces and the plating was amazing!! <br> <br> The other 2 must try dishes of this winter there is the truffle mushroom($5ea) &amp; the taro layer cake ($16)with truffle (+$15)custard and don't forget to add your truffle shavings! <br> <br> The not so great is the oysters, not really sure if they salted the oysters before hand but they were.. let me tell you.. super SALTY. <br> <br> Overall experience was great!! Good food, great wine &amp; better company

My friend and I had an amazing experience here. We stayed here for our anniversary and they gave us free wine. Mei was really attentive and funny. The food was better than I expected at a reasonable price. In any case, revisit when I return to Sydney!
