I've been to Milano's a few times now, only for breakfast though. The pancakes are outstanding- they're soft, fluffy and just divine. I therefore repeatedly order the pancakes, however others whom i've dined with have ordered the big brekkie which also looks delicious! The meals are reasonably priced, staff are friendly and prompt, and the dining area whilst casual is neat and spacious. Collectively this contributes to a happy and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for breakfast! I look forward to my next visit, and will be recommending to friends!

Went to Milanos with my family the other day as I had an Entertainment Book coupon for it. Once we were seated and a waiter came over, we asked out of politeness if we were able to use the coupon today (there are no restrictions on any days). The waiter walked over to the owner, asked and then returned to inform us we werent able to use it. We asked if we could speak to him as to why, and the waiter walked over again and asked, then returned to us and said 'he just doesnt want to do it'. We again asked if we could speak to him about it, the waiter left, and then returned and said the owner doesnt want to come over and talk. The whole time the owner was only 5m away behind the counter. We decided to leave at this point. All we wanted was an explanation why and we would have been happy. But the owner wouldnt give us the time of day. What made it worse was that the restaurant wasnt overly busy at the time either. Very disappointing and disrespectful. Wont be returning.

Have been here a few times and have not been disappointed. Meals are not cheap and same as wines but there is value here . For example the special I had tonight was fresh crumbed garfish . Crumbed to perfection with salad and chips was the best garfish I have had in long while ! My wife had similar experience but she had calamari . Great pub , great food and good selection of wines . We prefer now to go during the week as Fridays and Saturdays can be busy .

This was a place I was most looking forward to. We came a couple of weeks ago for our anniversary dinner and it was a nice evening with good service- in particular a definite shout out to Miss Georgia who was just lovely with organising & wine selection from the cellar downstairs! The menu is ever changing, but this leaves it to be slightly unnerving as u dont know what ur getting until it comes out. I am more than happy to trust the chefs when doing a degustation, though to not know at all was a lil disappointing and as my partner & I are not intolerant of most things, it was a wee shock for chicken hearts and camel neck to appear without knowledge. The kangaroo tartar was a stand out dish as well as the beetroot sorbet with housemade honeycomb- very tasty indeed! <br> The $90 option is more than enough food especially when accompanied with good wine. The ambience is warm, trendy and dimly lit which unfortunately wasn't great for food pics on my part. <br> Overall lovely evening in a great spot set for a special occasion or if u wanna treat someone special. Would like to come back again ????
